- Developed 2.4GHz wireless IP router RGW2400 series of IPv6 correspondence
Root Inc. will exhibit at Broadband Internet exhibition Net.Liferium2001.
Root Inc. (head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, president: Hiroshi Mano) developed 2.4GHz wireless IP router RGW2400 series corresponding to next-generation Internet Protocol "IPv6."
2. 4GHz wireless IP router has already adopt as a wireless system with first 1 mile and has used in service of a communication career, or local intranet construction of a government.
By corresponding "IPv6", it expected for using Internet not only network apparatus at home, such as a computer, but also home electronics, amusement apparatus, etc.
IPv6 is a research-and-development subject in governmental "the e-Japan Priority Policy Program", and it has become a target to realize IPv6 Internet environment by 2005. Our company is striving for spread and promotion of IPv6 as a member of "IPv6 Promotion Council."
On Dec. 15th, Root will attend in broadband Internet show for citizens "Net.Liferium 2001" (sponsor: Net.Liferium executive committee and executive committee chief: Keio University faculty of environmental information, Jun Murai) held in Pacifica Yokohama.

Root developed the 2.4GHz wireless IP router correspondence in IPv6.
It performs a demonstration in product exhibition and IPv6 network environment, and to have a visitor to experience the IPv6 network by wireless. |

The service will contains IPv6 Internet accessing, security, identification and hand over facility under the mobile environment such as cellar phone and PDA. You can see the progress of the study in here. |
