- ROOT INC. delivered the Mobile IP Communications System for the SALOON CCTV System on the Disneyland Resort Line run by MTR Corporation, Hong Kong
ROOT INC. (Allied Telesyn Group, Head Office : Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Hiroshi Mano) delivered a mobile IP communications system for the saloon CCTV of the MTR Corporation's Disneyland Resort Line trains.
The system will operate on the Disneyland Resort Line, connecting the base stations to the trains and along the tracks over 5 GHz 54Mbps wireless LANs installed. It will further connect the control center and the stations via a High speed IP Network. The Disneyland Resort Line will connect the Hong Kong Disneyland Theme Park on Sunny Bay, which is scheduled to open in autumn 2005
The system incorporates MBA(http://www.mbassoc.org/e-main.html)protocol and PDMA algorithm to provides a continuous broadband connection with high security through advanced authentication and encryption.
The system connects remote monitoring cameras and digital video recorders installed inside of the train compartments and the control center at the stations.
ROOT's mobile IP solutions are already deployed High speed mobile communication/ wireless access/ Road and vehicle communication of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Japan.
ROOT proposes a convergence of Wireless communications technology and Internet technology. It is a world pioneer in developing wireless IP routers, providing them to customers in the community area network, Internet access carrier and mobile communications fields.

This system provides not only the CCTV but also the general purposes of high-speed IP train communications that allows the passenger services such as the internet access on the train.
Furthermore, it will meet on demand as a fundamental security system to monitor and truck down of Train accidents, Acts of Terrorism and so on, on the trains as well as at the stations.
ROOT INC. proceeds with the sales of this system strongly to the railroad company via Allied-Telesyn Group's sales channel in the world.
